Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease

My mum has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and she had to quit her job. She also doesn’t drive anymore which she hates. At first we noticed that she was being forgetful all the time and she would get words wrong when she was speaking. Dad tried to get her to go to the doctors for about a year but she didn’t go because she thought nothing was wrong. I think maybe she was a bit scared of finding out coz she cries a lot. My little brother doesn’t understand much, but I have spoken with my dad about it more and I know it’s going to get worse. That’s hard but it makes me want to do as much with her now as I can. I spend time with her and although she sometimes says the same thing I just know she doesn’t remember so there’s no point in yelling at her. I’m worried about what will happen so I spend as much time with her as I can now.
